After TechTour Sustainability2022
On November 24, the TechTour Sustainability2022 with investor breakfast at BRYCK Tower in Essen. This was preceded by the finale of this leading international startup event at the CCO of Messe Essen the day before. This year, the focus was on sustainability and energy. After 2019, Essen hosted a TechTour finale for the second time.
The TechTour brings together startups and investors from all over Europe. Startups have the opportunity to present their business models to over 100 potential investors.
The preliminary decisions take place in various German cities, for example the TechTour NRW Green took place on 28.09.2022 in Cologne at BioCampus Cologne.
At the finale in Essen, highly innovative startups met top-class investors. With a total of around 300 participants and 15 pitching sessions, where more than 100 startups pitched, the TechTour was a particularly outstanding success this year.
40 NRW startups also took the opportunity to present their business model to over 100 international investors as part of the competition. With b.fab and Frank Kensy, a start-up from RTZ Cologne had also qualified for the final.
TechTour is a great event format for startups to introduce themselves to potential investors, to achieve more willingness to invest even among international investors and to network with corporate investors and venture capitalists.
